$10 Virtual Engineering Summer Camps for Middle & HS Student - Texas A&M Corpus Christi

Looking for something for your kids to do this summer? Introduce your middle and high school students to engineering, computer science, and geographic information systems (check out our new Podcast highlighting this career) at one of these Virtual Engineering Summer Camps offered by the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi College of Science and Engineering.

Purpose

Participants in grades 6-12 will be introduced to the programs offered by the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Students will conduct engaging hands-on activities related to different fields, meet professionals in their fields and have the opportunity to ask them questions, and conduct calculations like the ones that professionals do for their jobs.

Technology Requirements

Both programs: In order to participate in the program, students will need to have access to a computer, laptop, or tablet which is enabled with speakers, camera, and a microphone and which is connected to the internet.

How will this program work?

All presentations and activities will take place virtually. Students will do all activities from home using their computer to communicate with program Staff. Days prior to the start of the program, participants will receive an e-mail with instructions and the link to connect to the Virtual Summer Program and will also receive a package by mail (the kit) which will include all of the materials necessary to do the activities.
